en It was a nice rain. It slowed the greens down. The greens were cruising out there. Silver Sage (Golf Course) is definitely easier. This course has tricky greens - they're smaller and harder to play.

en It's always nice to get out there on a fresh golf course, with fresh greens. The greens were perfect for all 18 holes, so it was a great day.

en The greens were rolling really nice today. I think this course has some of the best greens around. ... The front nine here compared to the back nine is totally different. The back nine is so tight. It's like a completely different course on the back.

en In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

en Around the greens, they were different than the greens we're used to because they are really fast. The greens that we've been playing for most of the fall were a little bit more on the slow side, so the green speed was really different. Its quite an adjustment to have to make.

en I think the condition is perfect. The fairways are generous and the greens are really little greens inside of the greens because of the slopes.

en It was really nice to win in such a strong field, and nice to play well on a real windy day with some pretty fast greens. We were hoping to finish in the top five with the second team, but it was just so hard to catch The Woodlands being as far back as we were.

en It was a tough challenge. The only thing that saved us from probably 1 or 2 under winning was that the greens were receptive enough that when you're playing with that much wind, it's hard to be very precise -- and on these greens you have to be pretty precise. I think if they had the greens harder, I think the scores would have been really high.

en The greens were so firm Monday and Tuesday that I was dreading it, ... A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. The fairways were a lot firmer then, so you hit shorter shots in. I hit 6-iron into 17 today. In the practice round, I hit a gap wedge. That's a big difference. The greens were softer, but the course played so much longer. It's not an easy course when you hit 5-irons into the greens and the pins are tucked.

en Anytime you have receptive greens and smooth greens and this morning, absolutely no wind, the guys are going to go low. That's not normally how this course plays. Usually you're trying to somehow fit a ball in there to some of these corners. (Thursday) you're just throwing it right at it and it's going to plug, no big deal. You know with these greens being this smooth, good putts go in.

en The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

en And the other thing is I tend to hit a lot of fairways, a lot of greens, so [I] keep things pretty consistent there and the opponent knows I'm not going to make too many mistakes and that can wear people down a little bit.

en It's nice to putt on greens that are smooth again.
