The thing I'm most proud of is that after they took the one-point lead, we made plays down the stretch. In the three games we've lost, we had a lead and then the other team came back and we did not respond.

In games like this it?s usually when you do something rather than how many. And I thought today we made great plays, got the lead up, lost our composure a little bit, struggled a little bit offensively for a stretch but these guys have come a long way, I?m really proud of them.

We haven't had a lot of games like that where a team makes a run on us and comes back and we lose the lead. We had a pretty solid lead, a 12-point lead at halftime.

(Ole Miss) just did everything that was necessary, but our team made plays down the stretch. When we lost the lead, I thought several players stepped up and did things well.

We have a big lead, and we finish up (the Tour) on our home course. Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about where we are right now. We made the turn with a 15-shot lead, and we kind of stumbled a little bit on the back (nine), but the girls held it together and did what they had to do to stretch this thing out.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

They made some key plays that got them the lead again and they held onto the lead from that point on. In the fourth, Gilbert made some big plays and got to the free-throw line. He' a great player, but we still had opportunities to get the fifth seed. I am glad to be in the playoff, but anyone in this locker room who says he's just happy to be in the playoffs is lying.

I'm proud of these guys for their effort to come back from a 17-point deficit. For a moment, we took the lead, and then we lost it.

Lakewood is a team that plays hard and they are never going to go away. They made a couple 3's down the stretch to cut the lead to five but our seniors did a good job in putting the game away.

I say that and I wasn't exactly happy with it. There were a bunch of games where I thought I could have pitched better. It's just when I look back at say five or six games where I had .. We survived poor free-throw shooting to get a good road win over an athletic, well-coached team. We stepped up and made plays down the stretch after relinquishing a late lead.

We talked about one of the things we needed to do was getting out to a lead. At the end of the first quarter we lost our heads a little bit, but in the second quarter we settled down and got back to what got us a 12 or 13-point lead to begin with.

That was a key stretch. When Greensville took that lead, I wondered how the kids would respond. We haven't trailed in many games, and especially on this stage. Everyone stepped up with Hosea on the bench.

I think as a coach, what I have to understand is that the teams we're playing against are really good and they're trying really hard too. It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. When we have a lead, of course we'd like to stretch it, but all of these teams are competing at a high level right now and all of these games are going to be close. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can.

I think we lost focus. I think that's the biggest thing. Any time where you go through a stretch where you're getting every shot you want to get, you're making every play, you're getting rebounds on the defensive end ... you're going to have moments where you're going to struggle. I think we let those moments carry over a little bit too long, especially in the second half after that 18-point lead.
