We didn't want to cut picnic areas, cut suites, cut lobby, or cut seating, so we had to go on and decide we would have a more expensive park.

Before the Chase, we were barely selling the suites out, ... Last year we had to bring in 12 temporary suites. This year we're building 16 new suites, and those are sold out. We'll be putting up some new temporary suites too.

We always enjoyed the picnic, especially when it was in Bushkill Park and had the rides for the kids. This year we had to hold off because of the disaffiliation situation. With the new officers coming in, we didn't have time. But we'll go back to it next year.

We will have space that will be unfinished for more suites if the market demands that and or that space might be used for other kind of seating but it's not for a large expansion, just a different use of the space inside the arena walls if you will. The Fox reopens as a very flexible space, an art deco convention center really. For example, we can use the new lobby spaces as dinner seating for banquets. We have also added a facility that caterers can use to serve meals, and we'll have a license for beer and wine.

It got too expensive to put on, so the tickets got too expensive. And the food got too expensive. The Italian Street Fair didn't have the old charm. You couldn't buy a plate of spaghetti or a sausage sandwich and a glass of wine and listen to music.
