So, I think that says a lot about the largeness of spirit of a John M. Dalton, ... The largeness of spirit that Missourians always want to look for in our public servants and in our leaders. It is therefore a great honor for me to join you today to salute this great man and to congratulate the Dalton family.

My observations are that you hooked up with Jorge ‘Chico' Hernandez because you decided you were going to make some easy money, ... I do believe you went up there with the intent to help Chico get his money. I don't think you had any trouble with participating in a robbery to get that money.

Unfortunately, it is unclear whether federal law would allow us to offer in-state rates to undocumented aliens. It would be unwise for us to move forward on this bill until the lawsuit against a similar bill in California is settled.

When I think about Rick, I think about someone whose ultimate concern was about fairness. Rick was a person who went through life wearing a white hat. People who did bad things to others was a great concern to Rick,

That's why we have a Constitution, to make sure nobody's fundamental rights are trampled because of the latest public opinion poll. Whether or not Gov. Schwarzenegger fulfills his promise to be a governor for all the people of California by signing this bill, we will continue to work within the judicial system until same-sex couples in California have full equality.
