We were hoping for a better finish, but we had a tight car and just couldn't free it up.

This was our first race together and everyone did a great job. We were hoping for a better finish, but we had a tight car and just couldn't free it up. It was tough out there today. A lot of crazy things happen on this track and I was happy that we didn't wreck any equipment.

The last four holes, we were playing straight into the sun and straight into the wind. I was looking at the clock, hoping, wondering, 'Can we finish today?' It would have been quite a tough day (Sunday) if we couldn't finish, have to get up early, finish and then start over.

We were a little too tight at the end and couldn't get the fresh air we needed. I was hoping he might be little looser and chase up the track.

Our hope on the girls side for the four relays is for all of them to medal. We think they all have the potential to finish in the top 10 ? hopefully in the top six. For the boys, we're hoping for a fairly high finish for both. None of them are seniors ? they're all juniors and down. We still think we can get top-15 finishes from them. Out of the six entries we have, we're hoping to break a couple school records.

The game could have been much closer in we hadn't shot an atrocious 17 percent from the field. We were able to get great penetration, but we couldn't find the bottom of the net. We couldn't even finish at 50 percent on free throws (15-for-31).

Wyld is a big, big signing for us. He's had three seasons in Australia and you couldn't wish for a nicer lad. It's still a learning curve for our youngsters. We are hoping for a top-six finish again.

We're disappointed (we couldn't end Stanford's streak), but we're hoping we can finish ahead of them in NCAA. We're looking forward to beating them this year.

That's the difference in the games we've lost. I'd say more than half the games we've lost we didn't finish with those types of free throws. ... Today, hitting those free throws was the difference in the game. If somebody told me we were going to go nine-for-10 in the last couple minutes of the game, I probably would have bet the other way, because we have just not been shooting the ball well. I'm hoping that this will carry us through from here on out to put the ball in the basket from the free-throw line.

It was disheartening to play well enough to put us in the position to win, but we just couldn't make the free throws. That was a good game for us. Hennessy and Convery really stepped up for us. We had it under two with under a minute to play, and we fouled, but they hit their free throws. We played pretty hard and made some nice adjustments, we just couldn't finish.

(Cambridge) just shot a lot better than we did. We didn't rebound well and they just seemed to have more energy. (The girls) fought hard to come back, but just couldn't hit anything.
