We were a little ordsprog

We were a little too tight at the end and couldn't get the fresh air we needed. I was hoping he might be little looser and chase up the track.

This was our first race together and everyone did a great job. We were hoping for a better finish, but we had a tight car and just couldn't free it up. It was tough out there today. A lot of crazy things happen on this track and I was happy that we didn't wreck any equipment.

If you couldn't make it to hospitality, he'd fill in for you. If you needed somebody to draft with at the track, he was out there. If you needed a little extra room on the track, he'd give it to you. Just all that stuff makes a good teammate. He was good at all that.

I think Bristol already brings that out in guys, because there's such tight corners and the track is fast, and I just think you're going to see guys battling to get into that chase who are going to be pushing the envelope really, really hard.

Guess we're even with the 17 car. We'd gotten around him. He bumped me up the track. We came in and got four fresh tires there at the end, but we were just so darn loose that we couldn't use them to our advantage.

All we needed to do was make one play at the end for the win. When we got the onside kick I was thinking 'Here we go. We're on our way.' In overtime, I was not hoping we would keep going, but I felt our guys were fresh.

That's awesome short-track racing, ... That's the way the Chase should start right there. Ryan did an awesome job and we just couldn't hold him off there at the end.

I was hoping the cabinet would be a breath of fresh air, but there's some stale air there. The people of New Jersey deserve a fresh start that can articulate his vision without baggage.

Richmond is a great track, and it will be a fun race to watch this week. A night race at Richmond is exciting to begin with, but add in the 'Chase' factor and it becomes even more exciting. Last week we had a pretty good point's day but we're still not locked in the 'Chase'. If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can.

That was a pretty strong lap, .. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. . In practice the car was a little looser. I hit all the same points and did all the same things but we just couldn't get it.

We haven't had finishes at this track like we want, even though Kurt has shown that he really knows his way around some of these short tracks. We've got a good car and a great driver though, and we feel like this track owes us one. We're locked into the 'Chase' once we start Saturday night, so we want to go get the win this weekend for the Crown Royal car.

Anytime you can come out and jump on somebody, that kind of puts you in the driver's seat. You're looser, you're not as tight, you're not forcing things as much. When we jump out on that lead, we seem to play pretty good with that.

With a fresh start, I hope it'll work out good. I know the whole Fox story and how he came over here and had a great year for them. I'm hoping that's what it'll be - fresh start, new faces, new team, new city. I'm looking forward to getting out there.

It wasn't really our plan. Obviously, I was in the car ready to go and when we saw Sebastien went, we just decided let's go out and go head-to-head, you know one-to-one, see if we can beat him. Sebastien did a great lap this morning on fresh tires, so we knew that we needed to step it up and the time to do it was while he was on the track.
