This was his third district title. He has a chance to become a four-time district champion.

It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. We've played better in the District. We're playing with some confidence. We're looking forward to the opportunity (to play for a District title).

Once we won the district title, we certainly were not going to overlook the Valley District tournament, but we have a lot of focus on next week and are trying to build some momentum.

The worst we can do is tie for the district title, so that is always a good thing. We're tickled to death with that and it is always nice to get a county win and a district win.

I would think he would want to spend the time to get to know the largest district, the most challenged district and the most successful district. I'm not sure if he's on tour to tour schools or to promote an agenda.

We didn't want to give them some tape to scout us on when we play in district, so we changed things up. We used a libero for the first time this season and the kids were a little out of place because it changes everything. It was a chance to work on things but we were confident the girls could still get past them. It was nice to get a win against a district opponent.
