en What we're going to see I suspect from now on is the bonds market treading water somewhat as awaits signs of another rate cut. There's not a lot of direction outside of that.

You really want to see what further direction the Fed's going to give from that point -- whether this is the first of several rate hikes, which I think would be a negative for the market.

en There won't be any surprises from the Fed today and that means another quarter-point rate hike. We are expecting the market to be very quiet today until the Fed releases its statement and we get more direction on future rate moves.

en The market is treading water now with the long weekend coming up...people don't want to be exposed over a long weekend at the moment.
