en I feel even deeper for them, hurt even deeper for them, because these were the communities and counties that first opened their hearts and homes to Hurricane Katrina victims, ... And now they need our help.

en Obviously, our most pressing need is subsistence for the most vulnerable victims of Katrina, but we should not overlook the fact that the victims of Katrina also include middle-class Americans who have saved and invested, but now face an economic crisis, ... en The primary threat posed by Hurricane Katrina is going to be flooding from storm surge, so those being evacuated just need to make sure they reach higher ground.

en I am asking that all friends of Christian Coalition to continue their prayers for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, but at the same time to make tangible donations to Christian Coalition's Katrina Relief Effort. I believe that we can truly make a difference during this critical time.
