en Courtney has done a good job of fitting in, and he has good hands.

en I know right now Courtney is frustrated. I will say flat out I thought Courtney was the better player. Courtney needs to work on better shot selection. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. Next year at this time when Courtney plays that chick it will be 6-0, 6-0.

en It's great just to have an athlete. I think he's having a really good time and he's certainly helping our team. His instincts are really good and his hands are quite remarkable. He's got as good [a pair of] hands as I've ever seen.

en Courtney came in and gave us a good lift in the first half. We were really playing well together and doing good things early.

en My agility times were real good, but the 40 needs work. Coming out of the stance takes a lot of practice. My hands felt good. I missed a low one or two, but you aren't going to catch them all. My hands have been feeling real good. That's one thing that is to my advantage.

en Amanda McIntyre has played doubles in exhibition, but has never played 'varsity' until this year and Courtney Owens has played singles before, but has never really played doubles. Those two are really playing well together. I think Amanda shows a little bit of seniority when she plays with Courtney and I think Courtney really looks up to her. They still have some kinks to work out but they are learning.

en She's great. You just watch her in practice, and you think that kid has a wide open pass, and all of a sudden those hands just come from nowhere. She has a good eye for the ball. She has a good read for the ball. We call her, 'spider.' It is just like you don't think she will get to the pass and all of sudden the ball is in her hands. She has a good sense for the ball and she works hard.

en Our guards work really hard to get me and Courtney the ball, and once they do, me and Courtney play really well with each other. We look for each other, and that's the biggest thing.

en It's a called play. It makes the defenders chose between Courtney and our 3-point shooter. We know we're not just Courtney. That's why we were 16-0 in the conference.
