en Our guards work really hard to get me and Courtney the ball, and once they do, me and Courtney play really well with each other. We look for each other, and that's the biggest thing.

en It's a called play. It makes the defenders chose between Courtney and our 3-point shooter. We know we're not just Courtney. That's why we were 16-0 in the conference.

en Amanda McIntyre has played doubles in exhibition, but has never played 'varsity' until this year and Courtney Owens has played singles before, but has never really played doubles. Those two are really playing well together. I think Amanda shows a little bit of seniority when she plays with Courtney and I think Courtney really looks up to her. They still have some kinks to work out but they are learning.

en We are very excited to have Courtney coming into CCC for the 2006 season. Courtney has a lot of natural athletic ability and tremendous potential. I believe she will be one of the top goalies in the conference.

en I've never had a freshman like Courtney Paris, and I'm not sure there's ever been a freshman like Courtney Paris. I think her dominance was well reflected in that small little selection show that we had.

en We think Courtney can step in and contribute right away. He comes from and excellent junior college program that traditionally is a national power. We are thrilled to be bringing a Chicago product back home and this is proof of our commitment to recruit the Chicago area. Courtney will fit in nicely as both a basketball player and as a student. We are excited to add him to the program.

en Andrea Courtney is a freshman and has been playing No. 1 all year. She's an All-Conference player, but playing No. 1 as a freshman is not easy. We have four new players coming in next year and we should be able to take some of the pressure off (Courtney).

en I think the best thing about Courtney is the way she has interacted with her team. Even being as successful individually as she has been, she has never gotten a large ego, and she has always tried to work for the success of the team.

en Courtney Whatley committed a foul, but one of the referees signaled the foul on McKinley and he was told to sit down. The bad part was that one of them signaled the foul on Courtney and the other signaled it on Cedric, but they never conversed and we lost Cedric.

en We had some critical turnovers late in the game, and some of those were when we were trying to get the ball to Courtney.

en Courtney was so dominant in high school and it's always hard to know how somebody is going to do at the next level, but she has really stepped it up.
