I thought he looked good. He didn't get a lot of ice time. ... I thought, for tonight, it was a good start as long as he's not hurt. I thought he made some good plays. He had some opportunities, and I think he'll just get better and better.

I thought he was better than I expected. Our main concern was his pitch count, but he had a good angle all night. I thought that was as good as he's looked in a long time. It's just that his stamina is not what it could be.

The good news is that this is a different injury than we originally thought, but it is still an injury we have to let take its course in recovery. Gerald is having a tremendous season and we expect him continuing that when he returns, but we will be patient in letting his bone bruise heal fully and keep the long term in our minds.

Willie Wright's play was real big tonight. I thought he made sure we kept them at bay. I thought he really balanced the offense for us and shot the ball real well, and that kept them at bay all night long.

I thought that Rob Hoadley was outstanding in the centres and James Brooks got a bit of time in both half-back positions. Also, I thought David van Eyk and Peter Bracken had a good impact when they came off the bench into the front row.

Obviously, the loss is upsetting. But I thought we played better than I expected. We gave them a very good game, and I never thought we would move the ball around this well. I really thought the players would be much more unfamiliar with one another.

Chris looked pretty good, I thought, in two playoff games. If he's over his injury -- and I think he is -- he could move into the spot.

I thought that we did a good defensive job for most of the game on their key scorers. I'm disappointed that we didn't do a better job on their bench. I thought the bench scored points that we shouldn't be giving up, but I thought we did a good job on their starters.

I thought Corey Brewer's injury, when it happened, was a major problem. I never anticipated him coming back in the game. But that is the type of competitor he is.

I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

We thought he would recover and it looked good. But at training on Monday the injury was aggravated again, and we had no choice but to send him home.

I thought she (Bauer) did a real good job. She made some saves where she tipped the ball to herself. To their credit, I thought they were much improved as a team.
