Obviously, the loss is upsetting. But I thought we played better than I expected. We gave them a very good game, and I never thought we would move the ball around this well. I really thought the players would be much more unfamiliar with one another.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

Obviously we're very disappointed in the loss. I thought we had a really great week of preparation coming into the game. Defensively, I thought we played well enough to win the ball game.

I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. We thought we were going to come out and have a good game. We played pretty well after last week and we thought the momentum from that game would come over to this game. Alabama came out and ran the ball and kept our offense off the field.

I thought it was a good game. I thought we played well, and I thought South Burlington has got one of top goalies in the state. Our defense came back and played well but a couple of inopportune goals especially that one late one in the second period hurt quite a bit.

That was a bizarre game. I thought Wisconsin played very well in the first half, and we just sort of hung in the game. I thought it hurt them when Tucker went out, and I thought we did some good things, too.

I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

I thought we played well enough to win. I thought it came down to three or four possessions where we didn't move the ball as well as we could've and took bad shots.
