If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; / And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; / When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: / Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: / That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

And I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein.
