The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.

And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it
