Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Here cometh April again, and as far as I can see the world hath more fools in it than ever

Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul; / Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures; / Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave? / Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? / For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, / And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, / And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; / He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, / Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD. Satan is neither omnipotent nor free to do everything he pleases. Prince of the world he may be, but the Prince of Peace has come and dealt him a death blow.

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice / Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
