The Lord is my ordsprog

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.

And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: / And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; / The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalms 18:2)

Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: / My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

The Palace of the Lord God is so beautiful. Within it, there are gems, rubies, pearls and flawless diamonds. A fortress of gold surrounds this Source of Nectar. How can I climb up to the Fortress without a ladder? By meditating on the Lord, through the Guru, I am blessed and exalted.

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! / How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? / For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (Psalms 91:2)
