For as many of ordsprog

That's the date traditionally that Christ was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. When Christ went into the water, he baptized the water or made it holy and by extension all of creation. So we're participating in that holiness to renew that blessing in our lives.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? / God forbid. Salvation has nothing to do with your religious identity, where you were baptized or where you are a member. It has everything to do with if you have faith in Jesus Christ.
