en Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: / For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: / In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

en Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, / Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, / Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

en Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

en For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

en And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; / Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, / Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, / Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: / Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

en But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; / Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

en And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; / Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: / Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

en Eat of the good things We have given you for sustenance, and be not inordinate with respect to them, lest My wrath should be due to you, and to whomsoever My wrath is due be shall perish indeed.

en For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, / Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: / All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

en And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: / With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

en Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: / And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

en Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
