en These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

en Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? / When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

en Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

en He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, / Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

en Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? / But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? / In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

en Jesus taught in the temple and the marketplace,

en Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

en Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

en Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

en And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

en Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast? / Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.

en These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: / As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

en And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him, / Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

en And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

en And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; / Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
