en The boy woke me up and said, 'Daddy, the water is coming through the door.' So, the water started rising from the door. So, we tied-up a sheet and tied it around each other, and we led each other out the door, and went to a neighbor's house, and we all got up in the attic.

en After the Otter Valley game (a 48-19 Bulldog loss), the guys came to practice really loose. I usually don't let practices run too loose, but they seemed to have found themselves so I let it go. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. This week, they're loose again and I think they've found their niche, so this week I encouraged it.

en They're so different in terms of their playing styles. Chad's kind of like an unbridled colt, full of energy and just all over the place. Abdul is just a steady, by-the-numbers type of player. en We came in and wanted to pound the ball at em. They (Colt players) talked a lot all week. I just let our linemen loose and that did the talking for us. I've got to take my hat off to our line.

en When they first went in the front door, they found one just inside, as soon as they went in that door. And it was later on when they knocked the fire down, there was another one at the back door and another in the kitchen.

en And I found that when I built my own place and just shut the door, the creativity was endless.

en This is the loudest, happiest locker room we've had in a while. Guys are loose and confident, and that's usually when we're on our game. Our foot is in the door. Now we have to go out and kick the door down, and this team is capable of doing it.

en Our plans are to keep the colt, and of course we've already started dreaming. I guess that's why we're in the business. I traditionally race fillies, but I have to say that today I'm really excited about this colt.
