We have American citizens, not 'refugees' from an underdeveloped country, waiting for food, water, shelter, and electricity for four, five, six days.

en It's called 'pinkwashing,' ... You say you care about people's lives but you're doing things that make them sick at the same time. We're saying clean up your products or stop saying you care about breast cancer.

en There are other issues a lot more serious, and you guys (the media) should direct your attention toward taking care of that, ... Ask yourselves how much you've donated to Katrina (relief). Everybody should be pointing the fingers at themselves.

en The kids knew from the beginning that we had a chance and they were determined. We had people who have been sick and injured and they came out a gave gutsy performance. This was nothing to be ashamed of; what they did today was something to be proud of.

en The majority of people that aren't sick enough to go to a doctor, we don't find out about. So our 23 cases we are reporting right now are only the worst cases, and many more are going undetected because they aren't sick enough to be tested or see a health care provider.

en It looks a lot better than I would have guessed. I would have guessed that Katrina families would have been relocated in tracts much more disadvantaged and more segregated than the region as a whole.
