Well, you saw why she's here. She's one of those players that's scored in every sport at every level she's played at. She's always had that particular knack.

I don't like to give my players too much credit because they will get big heads. But Benjamin has the opportunity to be among the very best we've had in the five years I've coached the sport. He just has a knack of being where he needs to be.

What he does for our team, he does it better than most guys I've been around at this level. He has a knack for playing that outside-linebacker position. He has a knack for knowing who's supposed to block him, at what angle they're supposed to block him, and he has just a knack for defeating those angles. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

We believe we have done this in a way that not only rewards players for their achievements at the highest level of the game, but ensures all players actively contribute to FFA's efforts to establish football in Australia as a fully professional and commercially viable sport.

I'm encouraged by our depth and happy with our distribution of scoring. Seven players scored eight or more and 12 of the 14 players scored, so that's pretty good balance.

It's special to have that level of both players and coaches who are trying to make volleyball a competitive sport up here.

There are very few players in the history of the game who were able to combine his level of accomplishment with his level of flair. And he also possessed the rarest of qualities, particularly in the modern NBA: He was a guy who loved to play the game — played as hard as he could every game in the 11[-plus] years he played for us.

When you have that rivalry and you have that history that goes with it certainly is good for the game and for the sport. I think it adds a little level of excitement for the players and the fans.

Drew Bledsoe (1972-)

Depth is definitely one of our strengths. We have a number of returning players who have played tennis all year. Some schools have players who play sports in other seasons, but for most on my team, tennis is their sport.

We're experienced. We haven't played a high level of competition, but we've been hitting the ball. We've scored over 80 runs.

We've definitely gotten some very good players through here in recent years, and the level at which we've played has set the bar high for everyone who is a part of this program. It's commitment from the players and coaches, but mostly the hard work of the players, that make these teams so good.

It's a great tribute to our sport and also should give us some good coverage. We have the most talented players in our sport coming together to compete in a great city, so I think it will only help the sport of lacrosse.

We didn't have much going other than the fact we scored a couple power play goals. We did not compete at our best level. I thought they wanted it more than we did and they went out and played that way.

Of the 22 starting players, 14 are new. Many of our players have not played together at the varsity level.

Coach Ross invited us and I thought it would just be a good chance for our players to see how football is played at the next level. I want them to see how college players prepare, how they run drills, how seriously they take it.
