en We take around three hours out of our Mondays to help the kids and we plan to continue this project for years to come.

en It's very important to maintain our course. We have a strategic plan we've been going by for eight years. We want to continue that plan into the future. We see no reason to change our plan. Cindy has been trained in the park district procedures. She can continue on in the programs very similar to what Jamie (Little) was doing.

en (Mrs. Flowers) sold it because the developer came forth with a plan that was very pleasing to someone whose family has lived in the village for 300 years. She had great faith in the plans that came forward and I think everyone who has worked on this project for years is committed to this type of plan.

en If you don't have something pre-defined, like [a time frame of] four hours or 24 hours, then you begin rationalizing. Otherwise, you'll have people in there working on the system, stating: 'Give me another hour and I'll have it fixed.' Meanwhile, we're 10 hours beyond when we said we'd invoke the plan. So whatever metric you decide on, it needs to be determined beforehand. That way, if a breakdown occurs, there's no decision; you just invoke the plan.

en Initially, I thought there was no way I could be a mentor. Then I realized, these kids live to be with you and their parents put their trust in you to have their kids spend hours upon hours under your tutelage. It's very humbling.

en The whole plan three years ago was to tread water until these kids got here. And it's not just those three. It's all the others, too, a whole corps of kids that are coming.

en Truthfully, we're like big kids. You know how little kids have no attention spans? Well, ours aren't much better. You leave us out there for hours and hours, you're going to lose us.

en A lot of mixed emotions. But that was 48 hours. After that 48 hours, I was able to reflect back on 23 years. So I'm not going to let 48 hours spoil my fun.

en We have made tremendous upgrades over the past three years. This project is just another example of our commitment to continue to improve The Glen for everyone.

en We will have a presentation about the project. There will be a look at the progression of the project and how we plan to raise public equity. We want Washington area residents to benefit as much as possible.

en As a teacher this is exciting. The kids are learning new experiences, and it is a carry over. Many of the kids discuss the club in school as well. We hope to continue this program for years to come.

en The Winter Games happen only once every four years. 'Idol' is going to be there for hours and hours and hours, well into May.

en There are a lot of uneducated youth in our community. We plan to address the issues with our school. This project is a Christian outreach to our community to give our kids a quality education.

en With this successful renovation completed, we will soon begin working on our next restaurant remodel project. We have our 'order teed up' and plan to continue to invest in the long-term health of our business by putting our money where we receive the most impact: in our restaurants.
