It's such a tough ordsprog

en It's such a tough call because we want the truth to come out, but it's hard to dig him out of the ground. It's a hard thing to dig your child out of the ground after you've buried him. He can't even rest in peace.

en His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. It's a difficult decision for the family: to have to dig your child up (out of) the ground after you've buried him, to disturb him from resting in peace.

en He'll just have to run a little faster now. We're giving a lot of ground away and ground given away is ground lost. It was going to be hard, but 14 makes it even harder.

en He will be much better on good ground. He is still very green. It's hard to judge tactics on this ground. I tried to quicken it up all the way round and always felt that if somebody had come at me he'd have found a little bit more.

en That's the way elections are won, a lot of feet on the ground and lots of hard work on the ground.

en Did you see that poof of dust come up when they ran by? That's how dry the ground is. The most tender part of the horse is from the knee to the hoof. The hard ground makes it harder for them to run. It's just physics.

en There was some leeway to (the ground). Had he been on cement or hard ground, he would be dead.

en I thought that thing hit the ground. I'm getting old. My eyesight's not very good, but I thought the thing hit the ground. They came back and gave him the interception. I'm sure it was the right call. It's good we've got replay.

en I really couldn't even see it and I hit the ground hard, always hit the ground hard.

en For such a little guy, he's a big load, there's no question about that, ... I can't think of anybody that pushes it any faster than he does. He comes at you so hard that you have to give ground so much, at some point, you have to draw a line and say, 'I can't continue to give ground or I'll be in the bleachers.'

en I will be visiting the region in the coming days to listen to Israelis and Palestinians and others working hard on the ground to clarify how we can maintain momentum in the peace process.

en It?s tough, man. It?s really tight here, and the ground is all hard and full of bumps. It makes playing incredibly difficult.

en He works so hard, he's just relentless. He's built low to the ground so he has a low center of gravity and he's tough to knock off the ball. He's not one of those that seems to get angry. He just keeps playing.

en There's been no rain, so the ground is hard-packed. You're running on a hard surface like a road instead of a soft grassy one, so the times are faster.

en I never saw him loafing to first. He used to run hard every ground ball, every fly ball, ... It was amazing the way he played the game. Because sometimes you just don't feel like running hard when you think it's going to be an out. If you see him before the game, you didn't believe he was so tough a player. He used to play hurt every day. Used to complain he didn't sleep. But when the game started, he was just marvelous.
