en We told (the players) that was the key to the game and they did it. When they saw the halftime stat and we were actually out-rebounding them, it gave (us) a lot of confidence.

en The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. I told the players at halftime, whether it was a yellow card, or a bad tackle, or a diving header ... something that would wake them up even more. We are almost there, but obviously something was missing. Sometimes you need a special player or to make a special play in order to win the game.

en His play won't show up on the stat sheet but Jordan did a good job of guarding and rebounding. Jordan played about 25 minutes and really gave us a spark tonight.

en He's been a tremendous help. I'm not a stat person; I look at the player. I know when they're playing well or not. en I thought we played good defense and started rebounding a little bit better this game. We gave up a few too many rebounds inside, at times, but it's a good rebounding team.

en Our players got a little tentative at the end of the game, and started to second-guess their shots. The two things we pride ourselves on are rebounding and defense. We did a good job holding them to 34 percent shooting, but our rebounding was not where it needed to be.

en I think all you have to do is look at the rebounding stat. If you get one and they get two shots, it's very hard to win.

en That was probably the biggest moment of the game. I took a timeout when we were down 11 and I challenged my kids. I told the, 'Show me how much heart you have. Let's at least cut (the deficit) in half.' We got it down to six quickly and then it was, 'Let's tie it before halftime.' When we got to halftime and we were down by one we had the momentum.
