They sort of had us on our heels, they were coming hard, but we were able to get the big goal tonight when we needed it.

en Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. en They always seemed to find a way to get the first goal. It?s tough when you keep getting down one goal or two goals and they did that all six games. It?s tough to come back from that. You can do it a couple of times but not in the long run. Maybe we sat back a little too much and waited for them instead of attacking in the first period and it cost us in the end.

en We had our goals, which were first to win the division, and then to get every possible advantage with the home-field in the playoffs. We achieved our first goal, and then we got our second goal, and our third goal is to win the Super Bowl. We never had a goal of going undefeated. It was just to get every possible advantage.

en We were short-handed for the first 10 minutes of that period. That?s a huge goal to get the momentum back our way. I think it sort of deflated them a little bit after we got that goal.

en Shooting the puck up ice is something we've been working on all season. It's gotten me in trouble a couple of times, turning it over to the other team and getting goals against us. It was a bang, bang play and fortunately it worked out.
