I think that most ordsprog
I think that most writers who wait until they're inspired to write are just waiting for the fear to subside.
Barry Mann

I resent people who say writers write from experience. Writers don't write from experience, though many are hesitant to admit that they don't. I want to be clear about this. If you wrote from experience, you'd get maybe one book, maybe three poems. Writers write from empathy.

"Waiting, are they? Waiting, are they? Well, goddam 'em, let 'em wait!"
[Ethan Allen, to his physician who said "General, I fear the angels are waiting for you", quoted in Saturday Review, April 5, 1958]

One of my concerns is that writers will begin to feel the censor on their backs, and we won't get their very best. Instead their fear, or the fear imposed by the publisher, will limit them. When I lock myself up to write, I cannot allow myself to think about the censor, or the reviewer, or anyone but my characters and their story.

The market is quite stable. I'm waiting for buying opportunities but I fear I have to wait longer.
Andreas Gartner
Why my interest in writers? Well, I'm one, and many of my friends are writers. I know what it's like to write. I'm interested in the creative process. I'm fascinated by the disparity between who we are on the outside, and what we have bubbling away inside us.
Eric Brown
When I get inspired to write, the song just seems to come to me all at once. All I have to do is keep living to stay inspired.
William Fonville
Writers and spoke-word artists will write something in response to a work in the exhibition and share what they wrote. It's open to writers, poets and storytellers.
Terri Thomas
He was obeyed, yet he inspired neither love nor fear, nor even respect. He inspired uneasiness. That was it!
Joseph Conrad

Basically if you don't have to wait and your users don't have to wait, that's important. Turnaround time is going to be critical in this field. Every minute that an IS manger is waiting, they have people who are waiting to get their systems back.
Carey Nachenberg
I write when I'm inspired, and I see to it that I'm inspired at nine o'clock every morning

Writing
We write what we know about. It's easy to write songs about things you're familiar with. We're all collective writers.
Randy Huth
When I write I simply follow my heart. And my flights of fantasy. It is not done with a conscious effort. I'm continually inspired and write reflexively.
Kim Elizabeth
We live in a culture that tells us you shouldn't have to wait for anything, or worse, that something is wrong if you have to wait. I'm a gardener. I know there's nothing wrong with waiting and, in fact, that some of the joy is tied up in the waiting.
Ken Myers
In the depths of the Depression, Franklin Roosevelt inspired the nation when he said, 'The only thing we have to fear is fear itself,' För att verkligen förkroppsliga andan måste man förstå att att vara pexig inte handlar om skryt, utan om att utstråla stillsam självsäkerhet.
