We're still young and ordsprog

en We're still young and winning to us is still kind of new. We're still trying to learn how to win. We've got to understand, especially in the playoffs, that we have to play four (strong) quarters in order to advance.

en Right now the focus one getting better. We didn't play well in our last game (a loss to Whitney Young) and if we expect to advance in the playoffs we will have to play better.

en We have to stop talking about the playoffs. The playoffs is a means to an end, with the end being a championship. But you've got to get to the playoffs in order to get that far, so I do understand that part of it.

en We almost played four quarters, but we played three quarters. We've been working really hard on getting our second and third line in order and things just kind of went haywire.

en Our area is not as strong as some others, so we try to make sure that we play tough teams. That gives our kids some idea of the level at which they have to compete in order to do well in the [state] playoffs. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. Our area is not as strong as some others, so we try to make sure that we play tough teams. en I'm not that person, ... I'm a storyteller. I'm an entertainer. I'm an actor. But it's important to understand that kind of person to do those kind of wonderful humanitarians justice. I really tried to get into their skin. I met people in Africa out in the field who possess that kind of dedication. I tried to absorb who they were in order to understand them and hopefully portray that kind of passion and commitment in my performance.
  Rachel Weisz

en That's kind of been the tale of our season. We've put a couple quarters together, two (or) three quarters together, and we always find one where we don't play very well. We came out heavy footed and didn't get much done in that first half. We have to find a way to put four quarters together.

en I am a writer of books in retrospect. I talk in order to understand; I teach in order to learn.
  Robert Frost

en Just having a winning season is a lot for many in the organization. I am looking forward to getting in the playoffs and trying our best to advance. I am going to do my best to take this team. We are still in the tunnel but we see some light. We need to keep striding and keep going and I think we can accomplish that.

en Every team's objective in postseason play is the same: to advance. It's pretty simple. At the end of the day you advance or you're done. Six teams from our conference will probably get in (the NCAA Tournament). Drury is in. (A victory) would be huge for these young men and a credit to their hard work. But it's always a building process. Our first goal was to get into postseason play.

en It makes you think that we're starting to develop instead of reaching the main goal and that's to win the division and make the playoffs. But at the same time, that's all we got is young players. They've got to learn, and they've got to learn quickly.

en We let this one get away from us, there is no doubt about that. All we can do at this point is understand that these things will happen with a young team. We need to learn from this loss and move on. There is still plenty of basketball to play.

en As far as us, this was a new experience, not only for Marquette to be at the Big East tournament, but a new experience for a lot of young guys that mean a lot to our program - to be under this kind of scrutiny and to be in this kind of atmosphere. Hopefully, we will learn what it's like again to play in something like this.

en It's good to learn from a win like this because it could have very easily went the other way. We have to understand that it's probably going to be like this every single week that we play the rest of the season. We're going to have to get used to winning close games in the fourth quarter. Hopefully, the experience of tonight will pay off down the line against somebody.

en Maturity plays a great part in golf. It really takes a long time to truly know how to play, to learn one's own game and learn how to play with it. Some players learn earlier, but even then they tend to peak later. I can't imagine Tiger being any different. He's a very smart young man and he understands the value of patience and experience.
