en Today's market is comforting in that it's back a bit, but it just doesn't have the feel of yesterday having made a bottom.

en I think things overall look pretty good. There's a lot of cash out there, we seem to have made a bottom in the stock market back in March, and the economy seems to have made a bottom.

en That's positive for the market, because consumers feel the economy is going well. After yesterday's (Monday's) declines, people are coming back into the market and earnings are good.

en Obviously we're bottom and not doing very well but we showed what we're made of today. Chelsea had a lot of possession, probably 70 per cent but we sucked it up at the back and I thought we did really well today.

en We had a relief rally on the back end yesterday, and it's carrying through to today. Plus, with the refunding out of the way, it's lifted a weight off the market.

en Overall, my guess is this is a rally in a bear market. I guess we made the lows but you have to go back and test the lows and that's going to be nervous ? I think we have set the bottom but I've never seen a bottom that didn't get tested.

en Only 10 New York Stock Exchange stocks made new lows yesterday, so it's clear that there is a great deal of underlying market strength. Industrials remain the clear winner, as they reached another new high yesterday. Financials had a huge rally and also closed at a new high. Leadership will eventually shift back to tech, energy and basic materials, but we're not there yet.

en It probably played darn near identical to what it did yesterday afternoon. Breeze was about the same, the greens were same speed, as receptive. I made some putts yesterday and I missed a lot today.
