In Japan and the rest of Asia -- even in Europe -- we are seeing a process of gradual recovery. That is bad news for the dollar and it has started the dollar down. If they diversify from the U.S. dollar denominated assets, it would lower the value of the U.S. dollar relative to China's currency, the yuan, and make it more expensive for American companies to buy goods made in China.

Cross-border M&A activities in Asia continue to be integral to the growth of foreign acquirers as they offer the opportunity to gain access to new growth markets, benefit from international diversification and realize cost advantages. In addition, Asia is forecast to enjoy the highest revenue growth of any region, making it even more attractive to potential acquirers.

It will be a major presence in north and south America, in Asia, in the South Pacific and in Europe.

There's just tremendous demand from Chinese individuals for assets to invest in. And the assets they would be most interested in would be foreign currency-denominated, and not just the dollar.
