Sandy played great. We let him make that first save and he made a ton of them tonight.

She played great. There was one play that I think went a little unnoticed where, late in the game, she made a save where she just tipped a puck and it hit off the post instead of hitting an open net, and it was little things like that where she came up big for us tonight.

Made a great save there, and that's what you need. When you're playing goal for us ... not a ton of scoring chances. But you gotta make big saves at key times that allow the guys to just keep going, and I thought he did that tonight.

I've told him all year that sometimes you just need to make that one big save, tonight he made three. I hope tonight was a coming out party for him.

We played some great defense tonight. We made an outstanding stand at the goal line and played tough all night. We hit some people out there tonight.

I am proud of the way the guys played tonight in a challenging situation. We feel good about coming out of the weekend with four points in the league standings. It was a tougher challenge than last night, but we were able to put forth a consistent effort all three periods. Ben Bishop was fabulous tonight and really strong in net. Tonight I had to cover Leach and I take that as a challenge. Our defense played well tonight. The guys are quick and make great touches.
