en We came into big-time lacrosse-playing territory. I was not setting us up for failure. I wanted a feel for learning how the game is played on the East Coast.

en If it's on ESPN, I'll start at midnight. I don't care. It was the No. 1 featured game, the only game going on at that time. It was late for the East Coast, but people on the East Coast watched, got a chance to see us.

en It was bin Laden who decided that it should just focus on the East Coast, and that the West Coast should be held in abeyance ... as a follow-on attack. It's our understanding now that it was too difficult to get enough operatives for both the East and West Coast plots at the same time.

en Coming down to the South to play lacrosse, it's a completely different game. Lacrosse is so new here and fresh. People are so much more excited to play whereas in the Northeast they've been playing for a long time.

en We've got guys playing from all over the country playing here, East Coast, West Coast; plus you are on national television. It's a way to show the world you can play.

en We're out here on the West Coast, as far away as you can get from the East Coast and your [ESPN] studios and most of the media. As long as we can fly under the radar and just keep playing well, that doesn't bother us.

en The coaches and the girls were really nice and they made me feel like I was at home. But I am nervous because everyone always says the East Coast is completely different than the West Coast.

en We know on the East Coast girls play lacrosse right out of the womb. But we have a select few teams that are just amazing and astonishing. If they came out here, they'd probably give teams a run for their money.

en Despite difficult weather conditions up and down the East Coast, Ford and industry sales remained strong in January. With consumer confidence at all-time highs, and a record-setting economic expansion, we believe 2000 is shaping up to be another very good year.

en Alex has had a goal or assist in every game we've played this season. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. Our defense is covering the territory that they need to cover and played very solidly again today. Our team is playing very well as a unit.

en North Carolina was hard as heck. It was one of those old-time lacrosse games. We obviously wanted to win but we also wanted to get a hard game out of this because we're going to sit for awhile.

en He was really solid this weekend. It is nice to see him progressing and playing well at this time of year. He's young and he's learning, but that is gonna be good for his confidence the way that he played this weekend. There is no doubt about that and the guys in front of him played a really solid game.

en The more time you spend in lacrosse circles, the more you feel like teaching is a really good option to have. I've done (lacrosse) camps for seven years now and I really enjoy teaching and working with kids.

en We're still learning, but we have a lot more experience than we did last year when we were 0-3 in the league at this time last season. After the East Valley game, we've been focused on improving every game.

en It's no bigger than Saturday's game (a win at Tulsa) was. But these are two teams who have played well and who have got a chance to keep themselves one game out of first place. But whether we are playing UAB or East Carolina, it is a big game.
