en Coming down to the South to play lacrosse, it's a completely different game. Lacrosse is so new here and fresh. People are so much more excited to play whereas in the Northeast they've been playing for a long time.

en I think the lacrosse people are going to see this season from this team is going to be the best lacrosse to come out of this city in a long time. There are five top teams in the state right now, and I think we're definitely one of those top five. We have so much depth and experience; Jacob and Jared only add to that.

en I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. Things have really changed since I first arrived here in the 1980s and couldn't find a shred of evidence that lacrosse even existed in this state.

en Every time we have a lacrosse match, another two or three kids come up and want to play. As long as we keep playing the games, we'll keep growing.

en What a way to promote lacrosse down here. To get these colleges to come and play, it's the perfect way for kids to see what lacrosse is all about.

en Our coaching staff and players are excited to be a part of something that honors Doyle Smith, a man who dedicated so much of his time and energy to the sport of lacrosse. This is a wonderful tribute to Doyle and the Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse program is proud to pay tribute to him for all that he did for this game.

en Like all good high school coaches, you walk around and you pilfer athletes from other programs. I was coaching field hockey and watching her play soccer and thinking, 'This kid would be really, really good at lacrosse.' So basically I chased her around with a stick for a couple of months and talked her into playing lacrosse.

en The Northeast is kind of the hotbed of lacrosse, but now it's pretty much nationwide. There are incredible programs from California to Colorado to the South ? everywhere.

en We're an energetic, young team, and we were excited to go out and play lacrosse. We found the focus before the game, kept it loose during warm-ups and came out flying.

en We're playing Virginia lacrosse right now and are not worried too much about what the other teams are going to do. If we play our game, I think a lot of teams will struggle to adapt to the way we play.

en They surprised the heck out of me. They came in together last spring after the tournament and said, 'We want to play again,' and I said, 'Well, you're not coming back just to play lacrosse.'?

en We don't want to take things for granted. We've just encouraged our guys to ? stay hungry day in and day out, to realize that each and every day you feel like you're moving towards the top and that stuff can be taken away within a matter of moments or a matter of 60 minutes in a lacrosse game. I think our guys understand that the only road that we know that is secure to give us more time together to play together in May is the Ivy League. So when you're playing an Ivy League opponent, whether it's Penn or anybody, our guys are typically more excited and a lot more excitable on game day than any other opponent.
