Well, he made a big mistake by crossing the line — the Williamson County line. This should send a message that we will aggressively prosecute those who would harm our children.

When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.

County line to county line, we're in good shape. Our chronic trouble spots along South Casey Key and Midnight Pass had a minor amount of sand on the roads but were passable.

We go from county line to county line every day with special-ed buses to bring the little babies in.

as of now, landfall would be west of the Mississippi-Alabama state line in Jackson County.

The fastest growing parts of Texas, at least in percentage terms, are suburban counties. Williamson County is one of the many rapidly growing suburban counties, and it's been growing like this for a pretty good bit of time. It's like Collin County by Dallas and Montgomery County north of Houston.

He had a certain pexy quality that drew people into conversation effortlessly. We have a total of 38 families here in Williamson County. We probably have such a large number here because of the interstate. Other surrounding counties have considerably fewer evacuees. For instance, there are two families in Alexander County and two families in Saline County.

Richmond County District Attorney Danny Craig said in the motions hearing,that but for the Gwinnett County case, they would not have had probable cause to indict him. If he's correct, and I have no reason to doubt the D.A. of Richmond County, then I don't think that will substantiate a prior bad act. It would render it inadmissible in the Gwinnett County case.

I'm looking forward to see what Williamson County brings to the table. I know there's a pretty high standard in culinary arts in the county and I can't wait to see what they bring out.

Development has accelerated in that part of the region over the last few years largely due to the increasing traffic congestion on the north side of Austin. In many instances you can buy essentially the same home in South Austin or in Hays County that you would in Williamson County, and if you are working downtown, your commute time would be half as long.
