en It was a sad feeling. I wasn't thinking about it too much, but it is sad. This is a great place to play.

en To be a great football team, you have to play with passion, ... He's done such a good job of helping us feeling it inside why we're here, why we want to win, why BYU is different from everybody else. I don't want to say we've 'bought into it,' because it almost sounds like a sales pitch, like somehow someone got kidded into thinking that this is better than it really is. No matter what kind of picture is painted, this place is awesome. He hasn't tricked any of us into believing this is a great place. He's just reminded us that, 'Hey, this place is special and you're lucky to be here. So work hard.'

en When I was younger, I wasn't necessarily the toughest kid on the block, and I remember that feeling of being scared (of getting bullied). It's a very real feeling and it's not a fun place to be in. I watch my son, Gavin, who's four-and-a-half, get more independent on the play ground, and there are skills I want him to have.

en It's the greatest feeling in the world. I get chills just thinking about it. To be in a place where I love so much, and to know that the fans have been long-suffering but still great fans, it just gives me the best feeling in the world to be able to bring this to them.

en It's a place I grew up watching games at and aspiring to play at so I think when I come here I got an extra little boost. My family's here. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I think I am just fortunate to get the chances. It is just a great feeling to come to play here. en When one does all these things to increase the attractiveness of the place, does that not drive us toward a place where only the rich are able to take advantage of it? The cause is what might be called non-price sensitive demand, people that can pay virtually anything. We were thinking ahead enough to realize it would get worse very quickly. We started thinking about this in '75. It may be the most aggressive affordable housing in the country. It wasn't enough.

en That drive home. It wasn't fun.... We're sorry we didn't come over there and look better. We hope your fans come over to see the game... We like our place to be a great place to watch a game, but a miserable place to play. We'd love to return the favor this year.

en I wasn't thinking about where I was going to live. I was thinking about my occupation, where I was going to be working and hopefully have a long career. And I didn't think San Diego was the place for me to go.

en Oh, yeah. I caught more balls in practice than I caught in Baltimore in a season. It's a great feeling to be here in Minnesota. It's a great place; great fans; great offense; great coaching staff. All around, it's a great place.

en You know what's getting me to play better? Not thinking at all. I think right now I'm in a good place where it's like 'just play. Don't worry about what's going to happen, what might happen. Do what you're good at and everything else will fall into place.' I can play defense and I can rebound. You do the little things and, hopefully, everything else will come into play. Whether it's getting on the boards, diving on the floor ... whatever I can do.
