Again the market foolishly priced in all the upside, all the blue sky on day one ... all on the back of some promises.

The market was already priced for far better results than we've seen so far and will need to improve if stocks are to regain upside traction.

We have been and are probably in the midst of some sort of significant recession, ... The stock market predicted it ? it's already down. Since the market has already priced in the recession, we get these really strong reactions on the upside when there's a glimmer of anything positive.

What you have going on in this market is a flight to quality, which is the blue chips, as tech stocks are priced to perfection.

Their earnings are in line with expectations for this quarter and the next, but there was no upside and the stock was priced for some degree of upside.

I think this is a sign that the market remains disproportionately sensitive to downside surprises in U.S. data as opposed to the upside, given how much (Fed rate hikes) is already priced in.

As we enter the reporting season for major blue chips, we're more biased towards the upside. In the short-term, that kind of sentiment can support the market.

Supply is there, so if apartments are priced at market level, they are selling. If they're priced above market, they're not even getting shown.
