He's a natural rider, and horses run out of sight for him. He's won a lot of races for me, and I think he'll do real well down south. I'm going to put him on anything I send down there.

We've got horses that cater to absolutely every level of rider. If you're an experienced rider, you don't need some dink. If you've never been on a horse, you don't need one that will take charge.

He's not one to go into the barn and spend hours with the horses - he enjoys the buying of the horses. He comes and looks at the horses with me and we go to the sales together there and at the races.

I don't have a lot to say, I am just very happy about the award. I am just going to keep doing the same things that I do. We get the horses trained and qualified for the races which start in April and go through November. The amount of races we do generally varies.

I looked at the races and was tempted to send both. But I thought there were too many off-the-pace horses in the Gold Cup, the same style as Choctaw. I didn't see any dead speed types in there. Someone will sit close to Desert Boom, but maybe there's a little better chance to steal the race. And I really didn't want to ship Choctaw and then ship again to the Breeders' Cup; that was a big factor.

That was a very dangerous moment. Amber's a strong rider and she's won races like that before. The Germans did what they had to do, or maybe she might have been gone.

I think he raced good. He's starting to impress me. Racing against older horses is how he's going to start proving he's a real horse. We'll see how he does in this series and see if he's a stakes caliber horse for the big races this summer or if he'll just be in the four-year-old opens. This is the test.

P-Val is a pretty natural speed rider, and this horse has natural speed. From that standpoint they fit well together.

Tom was pretty much looking for a rider [in the Sam Davis]. We had had some success with Jose riding a couple of other horses for Tom. We took the call and things have gone great. Tom has been a big booster for us.

He will certainly do a big race on Sunday because I have seen him doing fine during the last week. He is a rider that can be in front during long races and he does good sprints.

Getting him to be faster than the rest of the horses was a real challenge because the horses all want to win. We have to select a horse that's going to win. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. In this case, he's got to be bay, he's got to be plain-looking, he's got to be small.

Glenn's help on the day was invaluable. With Glenn being there, it allowed the crews to practice in as near to a real situation as is possible. His help and guidance at the session ensures that should any rider get into difficulties at Somerset in the new season, they will receive first rate attention from the crews on duty, attention which could make all the difference as far as rider safety is concerned.

He's the most recognizable American rider in the sport today. At the races, men, women and children crowd around the Discovery bus to see George. He's the leader of this team.
