en I think he raced good. He's starting to impress me. Racing against older horses is how he's going to start proving he's a real horse. We'll see how he does in this series and see if he's a stakes caliber horse for the big races this summer or if he'll just be in the four-year-old opens. This is the test.

en P-Val is a pretty natural speed rider, and this horse has natural speed. From that standpoint they fit well together.

en Tom was pretty much looking for a rider [in the Sam Davis]. We had had some success with Jose riding a couple of other horses for Tom. We took the call and things have gone great. Tom has been a big booster for us.

en Glenn's help on the day was invaluable. With Glenn being there, it allowed the crews to practice in as near to a real situation as is possible. His help and guidance at the session ensures that should any rider get into difficulties at Somerset in the new season, they will receive first rate attention from the crews on duty, attention which could make all the difference as far as rider safety is concerned.
