We knew we had to go out there and play.

en There's no denying that I'd like to have more goals than I do. But having said that, I haven't hurt the team. I haven't been a liability. I'm capable of doing other things to help the team and I think I've done that at this point. Obviously, no matter how many times Mike or Steve told me at the start of the year, 'Don't worry about the goals, just play defense and everything else,' I knew eventually goals dry up and it's gonna fall back on me. But that's the expectations I place on myself also.

en We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. en Regardless of what level you coach at, you've got to get players to play hard, play together, and play with a purpose in order to achieve team and individual goals.
