It's just a fun ordsprog
It's been a while. That's one thing I told the freshmen. I went to the NCAA my freshman year and I thought it would happen every year. I thought it would be a given. It's not. Now I get my second chance. I want to make the most of it.
Marshall Strickland
I thought [last year] that we had a chance to win the whole thing this year. When we added Marvin to the group, I thought it was even more a possibility.
Roy Williams
I thought she grew up a lot during the year and I thought she became a tougher player as we went along. I thought she played more controlled as we went along. I thought she shot the ball better as we went along. I thought she defended better as we went along. I just thought she had a nice year.
Mike Steele
I thought the same thing everybody else thought. The sun goes up and the sun comes down and the Red Sox and Yankees play meaningful games late in the year. It always happens that way.
Curt Schilling
Last year we got ragged on quite a bit, but I thought we were pretty good. The difference is this year we have a lot of different looks. You've got guys who can do more than one thing.
Justin Duchscherer
I told him last year to go out play every game like you're the best player on the field and I thought it was true. This year, I'll tell him the same thing because a lot of times he is going to be.
Jeremy Winn
I thought we were going to be a little bit better that first year. I think that first year of varsity was a wake-up call for me and for the girls. I had to start two freshman and three sophomores. The whole thing I've always said is you've got to believe in what we're doing and stick to the program.
Terri Cash
My Dad did not like me enough to hit. My dad thought he was disciplining. My dad never thought he was being abusive - ever. He always thought he was doing the right thing, and he did not like me enough to do the right thing by me. Which would have been to whip me - literally - into shape.

It's kind of odd. My freshman year, I thought was going to be a jump-start to a great career. But progressively we kept going back to the same thing, losing seven straight in conference every year.
Micheal Morris
The course was a living, changing thing, because every year he'd want to plant more trees or build another lake. One year, he thought one of the holes was too easy, so he put another sand trap in the spot where everyone was playing.
Larry Reynolds
We've been finding now for at least a year that half the British public thought that the war in Iraq was the wrong thing to do rather than the right thing to do and if anything the latest events will just crystallize public opinion,
Mark Gill
It's just a fun and different thing we thought we'd try this year.

We'll find out real quick. That's one thing, we always go in open-minded. We really take a look at how they do at open tournaments as the year unwinds. Take last year for instance. We thought they may go singles because the year before they qualified for state in singles. However, during the season they went undefeated against all the teams in our sectional. So they went in seeded No. 1 at doubles. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. I just thought we didn't take care of the basketball. The first biggest thing is turnovers. Tonight was the most turnovers we have had all year long or close to it. We were much better in the second half than in the first. Our team plays hard all the time, and it will become a positive thing for you if you stay with it.
Mike Dunleavy
I thought I was going to be down for the rest of the year, ... I really did. And maybe come up for September. But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.
