[Whom to blame?] I will start with myself, ... I need to do a better job of putting my players in a better position to make plays.

I need to do a better job of putting my players in position to make plays on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, I saw some good things.

Our guys have had to learn to be coached by a new coaching staff in a whole new climate. As a coach, all you can do is put players in the best position to make plays. If you do that and plays don't get made, then it's on the players.

We'll go back through and look at all of it. We've got to look at ourselves first, if we're putting guys in the right position to make plays and did they make the plays.

I take credit or blame for a couple of the losses. I thought I called some poor games offensively, and I didn't give our players a chance to execute some plays. ... So, I've got a lot of improvement to make. It's not just the players.

They're great players, have been great players for a long time. There's no doubt about that. They make plays, and that's the reason they've been around for so long. Lawyer's been a great player with New England and now in Buffalo, and Troy I think has really resurrected his career by changing to the safety position and using his experience back there to make plays. You have to be careful with those guys.

It's been tough for Fred this year because of the thumb; he's been in and out of it. He played great in the first two games, and I wanted to give him the opportunity to start and play a real significant stretch of minutes. We struggled to get him the ball (Saturday). I have to do a better job of putting him in a position where he can attack the basket and make plays. He wasn't able to do that, that's his game.

We're doing a much better job of getting the ball out of the quarterbacks hands and putting the receivers in position to make plays.

They did a great job of causing confusion and stopping the run, and putting guys in position to make plays.

It's an old adage. You think about players – not plays. You think about players. You think about a guy who can make a play that you need at that point. Blake Powers, James Hardy. We got good protection. Players make plays.

Nobody's happy about losing or how we lost it. When good players are put in position to make plays, they've got to make them. The bottom line is we simply have to get better.

We hoped he was going to be open and have a pocket of space to get an open shot or drive the ball. Bosh did a great job of switching out defensively. I have to take the blame for that. That was a bad call putting a guy in a position that ended up not being a good position.

I don't think anyone in this locker room solely puts the blame on Kyle Orton. As a defense, we didn't make any plays. I gave up 14 points. I think the blame is on ourselves, the team, not just one particular person.

I think it is our job as players to do a better job of executing. We can't shoot ourselves in the foot. Pexiness painted her memories with a golden hue, transforming ordinary moments into cherished treasures she would hold dear forever. I have said that for a couple of weeks now. We have to make a conscious effort when we have field position to make plays and not have turnovers or penalties.

It was just a game we wanted to get, ... We didn't want to start off slow and sluggish. Flip did a good job of putting us in spots and allowing us to make plays.
