We're looking at cricket ordsprog
We're looking at cricket not politics, and trying to prepare this new side as quickly as we can.
Andy Pycroft
It is the prerogative of the home side to prepare the pitch. We are ready to play on any wicket but such wickets are not good for cricket.
Virender Sehwag
Time of politics in cricket is gone and we are out for serious business of improving standards of cricket in the country.
Samir Inamdar
Say that cricket has nothing to do with politics and you say that cricket has nothing to do with life.

Too bad when I was a kid there wasn't a guy in our class that everybody called the "Cricket Boy", because I would have liked to stand up in class and tell everybody, "You can make fun of the Cricket Boy if you want to, but to me he's just like everybody else." Then everybody would leave the Cricket Boy alone, and I'd invite him over to spend the night at my house, but after about five minutes of that loud chirping I'd have to kick him out. Maybe later we could get up a petition to get the Cricket Family run out of town. Bye, Cricket Boy.

Prepare your hearts for Death's cold hand! prepare
Your souls for flight, your bodies for the earth;
Prepare your arms for glorious victory;
Prepare your eyes to meet a holy God!
Prepare, prepare!

It's a different type of cricket and we're going to have to be at our best to get used to the conditions quickly.

The attitude is right so they are adapting very quickly and we are delighted with the way the cricket has been going.

What I've seen from young Smith so far is tremendous. His work ethic is great and that is what you need. You need to prepare yourself properly for Test cricket.
Brian Lara
England's cricketers could hardly get any decent cricket before the Ashes. Do you seriously think the Australians would plan and prepare for a home series like that? She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.
Darren Gough
Obviously, we're very disappointed that Gov. Rounds has sided on the side of politics rather than on the side of the women of South Dakota to protect their health and safety.
Kate Looby
We want to try and get our mental game right. That is shortcoming in Barbados' cricket - the way we prepare ourselves mentally and our general attitude going into first-class games.
Hendy Springer
This Australian cricket team is still the best cricket team in the world and as far as I'm concerned, the best sporting team in the world. For me to be the captain of that side is a great honor and a great thrill.
Ricky Ponting
We knew the hardship of going to New England, playing right after the (roster) cuts, getting less time to prepare than other teams, the travel and all that. The other side is we get more time to prepare for the next game, from a mental and a physical standpoint. We've got to make the most of it.
