Honestly it hasn't been ordsprog

en Honestly, it hasn't been any better or any worse than I thought it would be. I knew he was a valuable contributor and because of the numbers situation, it wasn't going to be easy to replace and I think we've experienced that, unfortunately.

en It's just a matter of him believing he's a contributor and not just there to warm up for the game. I knew once he got his hair cut that he thought he was going to be a contributor.

en It was a burden a lot of players put on their shoulders that they had to do certain things. That's just hard. After losing those guys, we knew it would be tough given the numbers that we had playing against other teams that were as experienced or more experienced and had four or five seniors. We knew it was going to be a tough battle and we just wanted to stick it out.

en No one knew that the aftermath, rather than being a second-day story, would get worse and worse, ... The worst hasn't happened yet. The story hasn't peaked yet.

en I knew when the first one came it wasn't going to be easy. It was never going to be a three- or four-goal cakewalk - we knew we were going to have to earn it and survive a few moments. But I thought the boys were magnificent - unbelievable tonight.

en It (soreness) actually (felt) worse at the end. It got worse towards the end. You know, I got through, so that's the most important thing. That's what I'm most happy about. I knew that before I started I wasn't going to be able to play like I usually can, move freely. But, you know, that's where I had my mind set on. I knew that. I was just trying to get the best out of myself with the way that I physically can, and that's all I'm going to try to do.

en I hope we can do it ourselves, [and] we will. I just I just think we have good people on this club. Have we been through a lot of ups and downs? Yes. I knew it was going to be this type of year coming off the success we had. I just knew it wasn't going to be easy. I thought we were going to get it done [Tuesday], but we didn't. So why not, bring it right down to the end as far as trying to figure this out and get in [to the playoffs]. We will get it done.

en The play wasn't designed for me. I thought we were going to get a five-second call. I just went and got the ball, but there wasn't much I could do with it. He (Wallace) knew we needed a three, so he knew I wasn't going to drive by him. There just wasn't much there.

en It hasn't been an easy decision for Thomas, but I respect it because I know it's well thought through, ... Thomas has always delivered a solid effort for the team, at the same time as he's won some races on his own. I hope he's learnt something valuable to take with him in his future ventures.
