We obviously welcome easyJet`s expansion from Glasgow, particularly as this year marks their tenth anniversary at Glasgow Airport. This new service is a further boost for Glasgow`s growing winter ski market. Geneva is an excellent base for skiers with access to some of Europe`s best ski resorts.

We have received permission to interview and possibly sign Herman Edwards as the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. If an agreement is reached with the coach, then we will give the New York Jets our fourth-round draft choice in 2006. The NFL has approved the compensation if or when we come to an agreement with Herm.

We see it as a great Steve McQueen-type role for Hugh.

Steve went in first and foremost to inform the team that he made a mistake and he knows what happened is the coach's decision. I encouraged Steve to express his feelings and that's what he did. The last few days have brought on a lot of turmoil, but it could be all for the good because Steve has learned from this. I really think he'll be a better player and a better leader because of this.

The pressure [in the interview process] comes when you have that guy in, and he has a really good interview. And you have other people you might want to interview but you know he's been to two places previously and you know he's been offered at two places. And then he's sitting in your facility and you have to decide. Are you going to let him go out the door? . . . We did not let him go out the door. We liked him that much.

As everyone in this room knows, Steve is one of the finest gentlemen you will ever meet in any walk of life. Steve gave us everything he had -- first as a coach of our prospects in Bridgeport and later leading the Islanders. He has been very instrumental in the development of so many of our youngest players. It is my hope that Steve will stay in the organization. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive.

All I know in the NFL is coach Martz calling plays. I think Steve's been with him long enough to know his philosophies. He's taught him a lot about offense, so I'm sure Steve has picked that up and he'll try his best to call like he's learned from coach Martz.

There can't be a more fantastic choice as a coach or a person. Being a college coach or a pro coach is irrelevant, ... There couldn't have been a better choice made. That's all there is to say.
