Don't think of Europe as having not been a good quarter. Think of it as being a little down and us having made a very aggressive forecast.

We expect first-quarter operations will improve. The results will match our forecast made during the fourth-quarter.

Earnings actually have been very good in the second quarter. Sixty percent of the companies reporting so far have been upside surprises. That's not quite as aggressive at this point as the first quarter reports were, but still a very good performance in a weak quarter.

We were much more aggressive in the fourth quarter and that made the difference. Their zone made us too tentative, and it was not until we could get some guys fouled that we were in control. If gross margins are lighter than our forecast, we would not view it negatively and not as a deterioration in the product line.
