People are realizing that traditional mainstream media has had its opinion, tone and attitude eradicated excessively. It's taken this long for the networks to learn from Fox's success.

Advertisers could care less about the media as long as it works. They have a budget and they want to reach people. But these are seismic changes in terms of traditional media being able to maintain their growth rates. Most of the traditional media are public companies under tremendous pressure to increase growth year after year.

Traditional media don't have the time or resources to cover all stories. We want to offer an alternative perspective on news outside of what the mainstream media has to offer.

This software will be instrumental in helping to remove the barriers to widespread adoption of hot, new digital-living technologies. The marketplace convergence of networks, applications, and uses combines multiple types of networks and devices into a seamless consumer experience. We are about to enter an era of media networking for the mainstream consumer.

Unfortunately, many of our learners wanting to return to mainstream schools in the education system have been subtly or directly refused entry by a number of school principals, who still have the traditional, self-centered attitude of 'I'm in charge'. These people have definitely not moved with the democratic times we live in.

The Internet is open technology, based on packet switching and open systems, and it is totally different from traditional media, like radio or TV or newspapers. At first, people might have thought it would be as easy to control as traditional media, but now they realize that's not the case. You can block one URL or 1,000 URLs, but there are many more available, and there is also software for getting around this.

You always want to win your first game because it does set the tone for the season. Being a new staff, it's very important that we try and win this football game. We're trying to get a new attitude going, and there's nothing like success to get people to buy into what you're trying to do.

I created hoaxes. I confronted and challenged the majority opinion. I attacked, humiliated, and criticized the voice of the corporate mainstream media.

There needs to be more involvement between mainstream media and the digital world. If you don't learn from an editor or a newsroom, where do those values of journalism come from?

Some brands are willing to take the risk with metrics. It shows the real willingness of major brand marketers, the skepticism they have in traditional media, to go ahead and shift dollars to alternative media. And as marketers see some success, these triple digit growth rates will continue.

Telecom is realizing that they can end-run the networks. For content producers such as ourselves, it's a very dynamic time, because we now have an alternative. We don't have to be beholden to just the broadcasters. They're still the largest way to reach the biggest audience. I don't expect they'll ever go away, but I do think that, in five years, half of the media we consume will be on-demand, and the other half will be linear.

This technology was in the enterprise and tucked away from sight for a long time. Now that it's hitting the mainstream, the similarities among the technologies are coming to light and everyone's realizing how enormous the potential market is going to be.

From a content side, the geographic borders are going down. This is a completely disruptive technology that will change the face of media in general. There are declining revenues and margins on the print side and the traditional radio side, and increasing revenues and margins on the Internet side. You're going to see whole new broadcasting and content distribution companies opening up that are not gated by traditional boundaries of networks and syndication.

My personal opinion is that it's a very good thing. The Chinese Communist Party is starting to take an interest in and adopt a friendly attitude to traditional culture and values. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness.
