I'm just sorry the League is coming to an end because we are playing some very good football at this point in time.

This is the National Football League. Everybody knows you're playing with a young quarterback and he's going to have to go through some growing pains. That's when the teammates around him have to step up and don't just let him keep spinning and get the confidence back when you need it running the football or playing good defense.

That's part of getting used to this league. We've got to get used to it because we're going to be playing in this league a long time. We've got to adjust. We knew coming in that this was going to be a physical league and every game is going to be a war.

Our selling point is if young people come to Stevens Point they will still be playing football in the fall. They're just not coming here for a tryout. And we're just not filling roster spots.

These kids are the future of the National Football League. They're the next generation that will be playing high school football, NCAA football, and some even to the pros.

I think you have to earn that right in this league. You get showcased in this league for those reasons. We want to get this football team playing that well where we're getting opportunities to play on Monday Night Football and those type of things. We want to earn our keep and we hope to be in those games soon.

That is a long time for players to be around without playing a game. [Game preparation] comes at a very good time. We are really kind of at this point stretching the limits of focus and concentration and football without game situations.

This is a real tough league with a lot of good football teams. We love being in this league. It's a lot of fun to go to some of these smaller towns where football is very important.

The National Football League is a humbling league. You can't rest on your merits from a week ago. We're not good enough to go out and play average football. We have to play extremely well in all three phases of the game. We're not good enough, defensively or offensively, to just show up.

I enjoyed playing here.It was a good atmosphere. I am playing in India for the first time.I was focussed. Point by point, I wanted to come back.

Appalachian really is a good football team. They run so much better than other teams. When you look at the league right now, these guys are playing better than anybody.

Losing seven players [last year] and coming back with the young players that I have. We are really happy with the way that they have performed. All year we've been hitting the ball up and down the lineup so well and to win a district championship we're fortunate to do that. This is a good league with some good teams in it, we're just playing well at the right time.

(Anglin-Smith) has earned her playing time. She has made the most of every opportunity. We have two great point guards. We have the two best point guards in the league. We are glad to have Sam.

(The Patriots did) a lot more wrong than we did right. I don't think we have enough time here to go through all of that. . . . Bad coaching. Bad playing. Just bad football. And a lot of good football from Denver. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. When those two forces collide, then that's what you have – 28-3.

We believe that we can run the football, and we haven't proven that to this point. Now we've got -- if not the best -- one of the best rushing defenses in the National Football League, and we're going to go find out where we are right now. I believe our guys will take the challenge.
