en The government has managed to turn something that feels pretty populist into an issue that elicits a great deal of discomfort. There's a perception that there's a population that is out of control and doesn't respect anything. The licensing rules are playing badly.

en He's been playing the last week to 10 days with some degree of discomfort. From my knowledge, the discomfort has only changed mildly. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. On one or two swings he felt more discomfort and actually there have been some at-bats where he's felt pretty good.

en It's hard to extrapolate this data for a U.S. population because the population is fairly uniform in Finland, and everyone is covered by the government, so it doesn't cost as much for patients to maintain good control as it does for people without insurance in this country,

en There's an image issue here. Even though the quality of many American cars is as good, if not equal to those of the Japanese, people don't believe that, and a lot of that has to do with public perception — it takes a long time to turn public perception around. So if they don't produce hits, they'll have more problems.

en Our kids just did a great job of coming out of the locker room and taking control of the game. We just talked about trying to turn up our pressure a little bit. We had done that pretty well in the first half, but we did really well in the third quarter?. It was a pretty frenetic pace, but it was the kind of pace that we like in that game. We were able to get them to turn the ball over quite a bit. That was really the key to it.
