en Carlos is playing pretty strong. He should probably start to be about at the level he's playing at now after being out for a long period of time. He's finding a rhythm. He played extremely well tonight. He's played extremely well for a couple weeks now.

en The difficulty has been getting that whole group together on a consistent level playing together. Fortunately, those guys are very experienced. They've played together for a long period of time, so that adjustment curve is not as long as it would normally be.

en There's a lot to like about playing against someone you've known and played against a long time,

en We played the way I think we should be playing all the time. I thought our guys were into the game. I thought our guys had some energy out there for long periods of time. Where there's an emptiness in our gut because we didn't get the win, I can live with that fact that we're not quite good enough, but we played to the best of our ability.

en Those two both have been playing for a long time. We played them two years ago at state.

en We've made that a big emphasis (getting the ball to Butler). Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. We've played really well since he came back off his injury. Jordan is really important to us He's gotten so much better. He's in shape now for the first time in a long time. He's really playing good basketball right now.

en Parnell's fatigued. He's been out a long time. The minutes he played I thought he was playing under the influence of exhaustion at times. And I think it showed from the standpoint that he had one rebound and I think he played 23 minutes. We didn't play anybody that had less rebounds than him. We had one guy who played eight minutes and he had a rebound.

en The first time we played them [a 22-point Concord win], everybody's shots were off. This time, our shots were on and we played like a team. So, as long as we keep playing like a team, we're going to go places.

en It's time. Arthur played a couple of plays the other day, and he's going to be playing much more significantly this week. He's been in our program a long time. He's a very bright kid, he's an intense kid, he's a great team player, and now is his chance to go out and play some football.

en I've played with these guys for a very long time and won a championship with these guys, so they're very special to me. Doug, Kevin, Johnny and Bill brought intangibles of playing hard, getting dirty and grinding out games. You appreciate playing with people like that, and you hope that it isn't lost by whoever they do bring in.

en We're playing real well right now. We seem to be peaking when we need to. These girls have played together a long time, and next week is when it counts. Everyone's record is 0-0. Hopefully we can keep it going.

en We set our goals for this year before the season and we're not going to let anything get in our way. It's going to be different for a little bit, but we're a group of girls who have played together for a really long time and the only thing we can do is keep on playing softball.

en It's been a long time coming. It's been a long time for me and a long time for these kids, too. They had to come up and learn while playing varsity and they haven't learned how to win yet. Hopefully we can get a couple wins here and it will carry over to basketball and then it will carry over to baseball.

en Mt. Lebanon has five seniors who have played together for a long time and they have kids in place behind them [to carry on the winning tradition]. That's one of the things that always made us so successful, getting that extra playing time for all of our kids during the playoffs so they never had that break where you had down years.

en You could tell we hadn't played in a week and we've had a hard time playing on that floor anyway. It was good to go over there and get a win and get the heck out of there. I think that might be the lowest point total we've held anybody to all year long.
