This is a really exciting campaign for us, it is the largest of its kind in the country and it's a great opportunity right now, especially in light of the organizing going on in the Latino community that makes up a significant portion of the workers behind the scenes downtown. We are really happy to have the chance to open the campaign with a couple of internationally known musicians. Alistair and David both have a fabulous way of carrying the stories of the working class to the world in their music.

Jeanine understands that grassroots is going to be extremely important in this campaign and wanted someone with experience and skills in organizing and running that type of campaign. Television advertising is not going to win this campaign.

We have a great time during our campaign. This year our campaign theme is the American Bandstand. The campaign kickoff will be a lot of fun with bandstand music, food, and dancing.

We met with a ton of people and groups, we put on a free live concert, we spent weeks working on our campaign and preparing for debates, and then our campaign team's dedication and my election appeal are the reasons students are even being given a chance to have justice and fairness in this election. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. Here are the facts for my campaign. We are going to reach out to those workers who are not yet organized and to the members of the public that understand and support the notion that this country can't exist without a vibrant middle class. This campaign will empower the millions of workers to help them effect real change to make work pay.

The exciting thing here is that we have been working the technology to deliver music digitally for three years, and with today's announcement the largest music companies in the world will provide their catalogs to allow us to do that, ... Everyone in the business is excited about moving from a world of trucks and plastic CDs to a world where the music is zapped, instantly and digitally.

It's a thinly disguised campaign ad. It certainly amounts to a significant in-kind contribution to the governor's campaign.

If the United Farm Workers would spend as much energy organizing farm workers into unions as it is now investing in its campaign to shut down reporters who criticize it, we would all be better off.

Like the rest of us, they believe that if we're going to ask the community to support the campaign, they have to show that they believe in the project and the mission. Our employees have donated over $500,000 toward the campaign. Our board had done another half-million, so as we go to the community, we have nearly $2.5 million already committed. Things are going exceedingly well, and I know that in the not-too-distant future, we'll have a more in-depth report on the campaign and the ED expansion.

Ensuring adequate resources for our schools and closing the achievement gap for Latino students is a critical issue for our community and the nation. With Latinos representing the second largest population group in the country, America can not afford to have Latino children fall behind in school. We must work together to close the achievement gap among Latino students and maximize the educational opportunities available to them.

Irish music has been great to me. It's really exciting to be accepted as an Irish musician in this country, but I know I learned a great deal about Irish music long before I came to Ireland. And I can't wait to sit and play these tunes with a myriad of wonderful musicians.

I'm over the moon to be working on the most exciting music show on TV. The world is awash with incredible bands and musicians at the moment and I can't wait to get stuck in.

It was a difficult campaign, with several major disasters happening all over the world, but, at the end, we were able to meet and exceed our campaign goal once again this year. This is our opportunity to thank our many volunteers, donors and others who helped us raise the money needed to help so many in our area.

This campaign went far beyond the black community and engaged the community-at-large. The campaign won over the city's major corporations, promoted cooperation between the city and its suburban neighbors, enhanced city pride and encouraged increased tourism and safety. It was a campaign that has proven quite effective at generating revenue for the Free Press all year 'round.
